So... I have been inspired. I have a friend who shall remain nameless, but her name rhymes with harah seath, and she has an awesome blog. I have always wanted to do one, but it has always seemed so complicated and time consuming... and yes, a little bit like the hated crap-booking. I abhor crap-booking... But, I wandered onto her blog tonight and thought about how nice it was to just see her little blurb about her son's scout achievement and the pictures and thought... 'I haven't even tried... how hard can it be?!' I can always give up if it is too much. and it's a learning curve after all... I'm sure that this first posting will totally suck, and then maybe a month from now or maybe a year I will look back and go 'oh my goodness! what in the world was I doing with that one! Wow! I was clueless! After all... If harah can do it, I'll bet I can figure it out... it might take me longer, but I can persevere...
We are in the process of moving and so that is motivating too... I have this other friend, and she's really really dug her heels in about not joining the facebook movement. It's not exactly the mark of the beast, but she won't. She's convinced that she won't ever hear from me again, so maybe if I blog and talk about her all the time, she will realize that I'm not going to forget about her and that technology isn't evil... Mwah :x
Since this is my first blog, it will be extremely low tech... no pictures or anything... Well, that and it is almost 2 in the morning, I'm in a hotel with all the lights on and my daughter wants to go to sleep. Lance hung up the IM on my a couple of hours ago, but I work best at night, so I had to take advantage of it...
